The Filson Historical Society contains primary source documents about local history, prominent families, yearbooks from high schools around the area and surname research. Find out more here. Most of their information will NOT be digitized, but a visit to the Filson in person will be extremely helpful to your project. I promise!

Louisville Metro Archives

Louisville Metro Archives will contain very valuable information for this project including but not limited to land deeds, marriage certificates, wills, census and tax records. You MUST go visit this site to obtain this information. It is NOT indexed or available online.
