About the Play

About the Play

On this page, you can read all about the middle school play "Alice in Wonderland".

"Alice in Wonderland" was written by Louis Carroll in 1865. Walt Disney created an animated movie for it later on, along with Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, and Mary Poppins.

On a perfect summer day in the park, Alice plays around while her older sister, Mathilda, tries to give her a history lesson. Alice then follows a white rabbit into his rabbit hole, and she falls into Wonderland, where she meets talking flowers, a cheshire cat, the stern Queen of Hearts, and a dodo bird. Once Alice returns to the normal world, she thinks it was just all a dream. Or was it?

All of Louisville Collegiate School's Middle School Players are very excited to do the play "Alice in Wonderland".

Play Progression

On this page, you get a behind-the-scenes look at play practice for "Alice in Wonderland".

I am Brooks Hoddinott, and I am in 7th Grade. I am also a Cheshire Cat, and I have been involved in plays for 2 years now. Mrs. Kinnison makes play practice so much fun. If I was stranded on a deserted island, I would bring my family. I love to play sports and hang out with my friends.

My name is Murphy van der Velde. I am in 6th grade and I am in the chorus. I have been involved in plays for 3 years. My favorite part about the play is being with all my friends. If I could pick any role, I would pick the main part: Alice.                If I was stranded on a desert Island I would bring a tennis racket, so if there were any bad guys or wild animals I could…defend myself. I am going to invent a new word one day: Mokasaka!

    LCS PLayers

The LCS Players is an enrichment program in which gives middle school students the opportunity to take part in a play. We learn about famous plays, theatre, and the technology behind it.  The LCS Players also gives us middle school students a chance to build team building and make friends with people from different grades.
